A native of Pittston, PA, Barry Mertz graduated from Wyoming Seminary Preparatory School and Temple University of Business Administration. He earned a Bachelor of Science and went on to graduate study at Pennsylvania State University School of Business Administration. He then entered Villanova University School of Law, receiving his Juris Doctor.

Background & Experience
|
After practicing law for four years, Barry made a career change into the field of commercial real estate. He joined the staff of Hart Corporation, a national real estate firm, headquartered in Southampton, PA, specializing in industrial real estate.
He went on to become a managing partner for the Trammell Crow Company. In 1980, Barry started his own company, and over the years he has grown this company to its status today as one of the largest and most successful full service commercial real estate brokerage fi rms in the Philadelphia/Southern New Jersey and Northeastern Pennsylvania areas.
Barry has been a leader over the years in many local and national real estate organizations, and has served four terms on the Leadership Board of NAI Global.
